The leader of the Indegenous People Of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, ahead of his parent's burial has condemned the deployment of military men to his home town in Afara-Ukwu, Umahia by the Nigerian government.

Nnamdi Kanu who made the reaction on his Twitter handle on Monday , however , asked the soldiers and Nigerian government to face the battle against Boko Haram terrorist group and Fulani Herdsmen Militia , who have murdered over 320 people only in Nigeria 2020, instead of coming to besiege his home town and harass innocent citizens unnecessarily.

The message on his Twitter handle read:
"In January 2020, Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen militia, and bandits have killed at least 320 people in Nigeria. Tell me why a right-thinking govt. would deploy a battalion to my home town to terrorise people rather than battling the terrorists?

Meanwhile, there are serious preparations towards the successful burial of Kanu's parents , His Royal Highness Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Meme Sally Kanu on Friday ,February 14, 2020 at Afara-Ukwu, Umahia Local Government Area of Abia State .
