EBONYI GOVERNOR CONFIRMS SECOND CASE OF CORONAVIRUS IN THE STATE: Otu Obiahu, AJM NEWS Wednesday 29/04/2020 The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. Dave Umahi today confirmed another case of the dreaded Coronavirus in the state, making it two cases in less than one week. According to Governor Umahi, this second COVID-19 patient is a 27-year old man who resides and does business in Asaba, Delta State; but was intercepted while returning to Ebonyi with his wife and their caregiver at Ishieke, Abakaliki by a team of police men who later brought them to the State Covid-19 holding centre at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki where they were scheduled for screening. The three were later tested at the State COVID-19 Testing Center, unfortunately the man tested positive. AN NGO, ELEJE LEGACY FOUNDATION DISTRIBUTES FOOD ITEMS TO 100 FAMILIES IN OZIZZA, AFIKPO NORTH OF EBONYI STATE: Otu Obiahu, AJM NEWS Wednesday 29/04/2020 As so many individuals and families are loosing hope in the midst of lack and hunger ravaging the land, caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown, a Non-governmental organization, the Eleje Legacy Foundation (ELF) has brought back hope in Amikpo Community, Ozizza in Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, as it distributed food items worth hundreds of thousands of Naira to100 families in the community. AJM NEWS gathered that the Eleje Legacy Foundation, which is also a Non-profit making organization, distributed no fewer than one hundred (10 Kg) bags of rice to 100 households in Amikpo, Ozizza.
